The Oregon Performance Internship (OPI) is a program jointly developed by the Oregon Business Council and Hatfield School of Government. OPI is a unique opportunity for the nation's best graduate students in public affairs, public policy, and public administration to spend a summer in Oregon helping improve the performance of public and nonprofit agencies. The Hatfield School staffs the program and hosts the performance measurement and management workshop held each summer by Dr. Bob Behn from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
